“Your Father Knows" by Melanie Rigney (@melanierigney)

From all their distress God rescues the just. (Psalm 34:18b)

Piety
Father open my ears and slow down my brain and my tongue.

Study
There is absolutely nothing wrong with crying out to God for relief when the cross you carry seems too heavy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with offering sincere thanks for the overwhelming blessings in your life.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with praising Him and adoring Him for the glimmers of His glory that we understand and the greatness beyond our comprehension.

We’re human, and humans sometimes need to put words to our emotions, happy, sad, gratitude, anger, or some jumbled mess of all of those.

So, spill it out. Afterward, thank God for His patience with you (and with each one of us). And then pray without words. Pray by listening. Pray by hearing. Pray by surrendering.

Action
Let Jesus take the wheel and drive your conversation with Him today.
